Althorp Village was developed by the Church and Munro families who owned and operated the land as an organic kiwifruit orchard for many years before the village started. On a gentle north-facing slope, the land traps the sun all day and will always be a perfect place to live.
The directors and shareholders of Althorp Village Ltd are committed to running a village where all residents have a feeling of certainty and security for the future while enjoying the present. They provide the means for residents to extend their range of activities and social life if they wish.
Our Directors are Jane and David Church, Joanne and Talbot Munro, Andrew Church and Kaley Lewitt.
Professional management is in place, with all residents’ views being valued and opinions and suggestions welcome.
The Manager, Michelle Prosser and Financial Controller, Christine Round are ably assisted by Receptionist Donna Williams at the Lodge and Robyn Dawson at our Serviced Apartments. Our Sales Manager is Claire Keen. Not to be forgotten are our wonderful gardeners and maintenance team.
Althorp provides the benefits and certainty of an Occupation Right Agreement with the advantage of an independent Statutory Supervisor. Neither the families nor the Statutory Supervisor guarantees the offer of occupation licences by Althorp Village Ltd.
Applications can only be accepted on the application form contained in the Disclosure Statement for Althorp Village issued in accordance with the Retirement Villages Act.
